About Closet Current

Closet Current started with a simple observation: most homes are not short on storage space so much as they are short on used storage space. The back of a door, the strip of wall beside a bunk bed, the narrow gap next to a closet — these spots go unnoticed while clutter piles up elsewhere.

So we built a shop around organizers that hang and mount. Our range is intentionally small: an over-the-door pocket organizer with clear windows, a wall-mounted hat rack set, a metal floating bedside shelf with a detachable cup holder, and a tall five-tier mesh-pocket door organizer.

Each product earns its place by solving a specific problem. The pocket organizer keeps small items visible. The hat organizer gives each cap its own layer. The bedside shelf replaces a bulky nightstand where floor space is tight. The five-tier hanger adds five roomy compartments without a single cabinet.

We write our listings in plain language and stick to the facts we have: dimensions, materials, load notes, and installation steps. If a door needs to be under a certain thickness, we say so. If a surface calls for screws instead of adhesive, we say that too.

Closet Current is for renters, students, parents, and anyone making a compact room work harder. We think good storage should be easy to understand, easy to install, and easy to live with.

Frequently asked questions — Closet Current

How do I know if an over-the-door organizer will fit my door?

Check the door thickness and top clearance against the fit notes in each listing. The five-tier organizer is designed for doors under 1.98 inches thick, and the pocket organizer for doors within 1.96 inches. Measure before ordering, since frames and clearance vary.

Do these organizers need tools or drilling?

It depends on the piece. The over-the-door organizers hang from hooks with no drilling. The hat organizer offers adhesive mounting or screw mounting. The bedside shelf mounts to the wall, so follow its included mounting instructions for your surface.

What can I store in the hanging organizers?

The pocket and five-tier organizers are suited to lightweight everyday items such as diapers, wipes, towels, toys, socks, toiletries, and snacks. The five-tier organizer has a total load capacity of up to 44 lb when properly installed and evenly loaded.

Can I use these in a dorm or RV?

Yes. The bedside wall shelf is designed for dorm rooms, bunk beds, loft beds, and RV sleeping areas, and the over-the-door organizers work in dorms, nurseries, bathrooms, and closets where hanging storage makes sense.
